Kwamena Brace (Kwah-Meh-Nah)
Hi! I'm a Finnish Ghanaian, Melbourne-based composer and sound designer. I started out producing and collaborating with artists in London after graduating with a degree majoring in vocals. That experience gave me a deep love for storytelling through music and sound. As an avid gamer, it eventually led me into the world of game audio where my two biggest passions collide.
After working as a sound designer for a studio in Melbourne, I now work as a freelancer, splitting my time between music, sound design, voice-overs, location sound, and raising a very active two-year-old boy. I enjoy exploring the many cultural influences I’ve had throughout my life and bringing those experiences into my work.
I’ve worked on projects in Unity and Unreal Engine using both Wwise and FMOD, and I love taking on new challenges. Technical audio is endlessly fascinating to me.
Whether I’m composing an orchestral theme, building a gritty cyberpunk soundscape, or recording foley, I love enhancing worlds with music and sound that immerse players in the magical world of game audio.
